Breakthrufm breaking boundaries in music

As im writing this I am filled with happiness that this site is finally finished and is up and running and thats pretty cool. So there you have it breakthrufm is here. This whole website came about from having to come up with an idea for a final year major project at university. I have always had an interest in the local music scene and after a while of thinking exactly where I wanted to go with this idea I decided to make a website which would aim to showcase unsigned bands around Northern Ireland. I wanted to do this via podcasts and give each band featured in those podcasts their own pages on the site, so that people could not only find out more about each band but listen to some more of their music also.

One of the things which drove me to make a site like this is that there are some really amazing bands in Northern Ireland and I thought it would be good to gather some of them in the one place, so that people could come to the site, read about and listen to those bands and you never know they might even become fans of the local music scene.
