Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Muse, Goo Goo Dolls, Stevie Wonder (I know hes not a band), Blur, Queen, Arctic Monkeys, Ordinary Boys and piles more.
Food and Water. Liverpool FC and Good Northern Irish bands and also just good music. Family Guy, Scrubs probably most television in general really, especially old tv shows from the late 80's to the mid 90's, shows like McGyver, The A Team, You Bet, Gladiators, Ghostbusters the cartoon and a wide and varied variety of shows.
Milk and Andi Peters. I have milk on my cornflakes and in my tea but thats it. I dont need to explain why I dislike Andi Peters it’s a free world.
It’s great with all the new bands coming through. Nothern Ireland has emerged as a great place for music now and more bands will make it big from here I am sure of that. When you look at artists like Snow Patrol and Duke Special you have to say Northern Ireland is producing some quality acts and the rest of the UK are beginning to look over here for talent and long may that continue.
The main aim is to showcase the local bands which have come to our attention and to get their music out to a wider audience. Barbour and me don't have a degree in music knowledge or anything and we don't claim to be experts in the field. We are really just two guys who love music and really like the local music scene. So basically we play music that we think is good or different and we have fun doing it. The shows are there to bring fun and involve the listeners with the different events in which they can upload things like pictures to the website. The radio shows and website are not only there to promote the bands and the music but also to promote fun and involvement with breakthrufm.
